この「African Voice」は高２の春に線画は終わっていました。しかし、その後Otti Ouriはトールキンの「ロード・オブ・ザ・リング」のような長い旅、彼自身の内面を流離う旅に出ることになるのです。蛹が背中を割り、時間をかけて蝶になるような大きな変化。

旅の途中、Otti Ouriは葛藤、怒り、絶望、諦め、渇望等様々な山河を彷徨い、感じたのでしょう。

 

１年後に彼は逞しく戻ってきます。

丁寧に色を入れ、新しい線を描き始めました。

そんな折、SHIBUYA AWARDSを知り、大急ぎで仕上げてからの応募となりました。

 

今回の受賞、本当に嬉しく思います。

まことに光栄な事です。関係者の皆々様、支えていただいている方々、本当にありがとうございます！

今日は嬉しいご報告です。昨年末に渋谷区庁舎「スペース428」にて開催されました『渋谷アワード2021』(@shibuyaawards )の最終審査結果が本日発表となり、Otti Ouriの作品「African Voice」が、「今村有策賞」と「オーディエンス賞」の2賞をいただきました✨＊

＊このような栄えある賞を若輩者のOttiがいただけるとは、まるで夢のようです。Ottiも私たち家族も、大変感激しつつ身の引き締まる思いでおります。今村先生はじめ審査員の先生方へ、心より感謝申し上げます。＊

＊また「オーディエンス賞」は、会場やインターネット上での投票によって決められる、まさに皆様のお力がなければ決して得ることのできなかった賞です。Ottiの作品を気に入ってご投票くださいました皆様、本当にありがとうございました✨皆様のあたたかな応援のお気持ちが、常にOttiと私たちの頑張る原動力となっております。これからも一歩一歩、前進してまいります。＊
